I had an elementary school teacher who loved to fish, tell jokes, and most of all, she encouraged her students. Her name was Mrs. Jackson. For me personally, she encouraged me to write. I’m not sure what she found special about the words I penned, but I remember her telling me to keep writing.
Now, several decades later, I have begun my writing career with thanks in part to Mrs. Jackson. I will be forever thankful for her encouragement.
